Still waiting for it to come in, but I've already got my Romeo1, Talon Grips, hole and mag pouches. I ended up going with the X5 for a few various reasons. You’ll normally find Glock 19s for a street price of 500 to 620 and an MSRP of 599 to 750 depending on the sight options while the Sig P320s range from 544 to 780 respectively. That's the only functional complaint I've heard about with the Canik's.After hundreds of rounds fired, my Vortex hold down screws loosened and I had to retighten them slightly. There are some price differences for the Glock 19 vs Sig Sauer P320. The Canik's are very well made and also very accurate right out of the box.Īfter my attempt's to improve the SFX?, I'm back to just a few modifications. (I like the Freedom trigger simply for the fact that it moves the take up and release forward rather than in it's stock configuration, (which isn't hard to get used to). I'd appreciate feedback from those of you that have experience with both of these guns.Ĭanik SFX.I've tried a few additions simply becuse I'm a "tinkerer" and tried to make something good even better?. If I go with the Sig I'll be topping it with a Romeo 1, if I go with the Canik I'll be topping it with a Vortex Venom. I will be adding an optic to whichever one I get. The price point of the Canik is very tempting, considering that I can get the gun and an optic for about the same price as just the Sig alone. Now it comes down to making a decision, and I'm really torn on which direction to go. It was extremely accurate! The Sig seemed to eat up the recoil much better, most likely due to the heftier weight. I was really surprised at how well the Canik felt and especially how well it shot. They had the tightest groups and they both felt the best in my hand. Out of those that I shot, I shot the Canik and Sig the best. I had the opportunity to shoot the following last night: XDm 5.25 Comp, M&P Pro, Glock 34, Walther PPQ M2, Canik TP9SF and Sig P320x5.
